Tick removers Made in EU
SYMPPIS Tick Hook – THE WORLD'S BEST TICK REMOVER – belongs in the first aid kit of every home, summer cottage and car! 4 different models: PET, CLASSIC, CLIP and PRO.
The latest product is the PRO model, which includes 3 tick hooks, the smallest one of them is designed to remove the smallest – and most dangerous to humans – ticks, i.e. larvae.
Facts - no fiction
There are only 5 things that experts agree on when removing a tick: 1. The tick should be removed quickly, 2. It is most difficult to remove the smallest ticks, i.e. larvae and nymphs, 3. The tick should be removed from the point where the tick and the skin join, 4. Do not squeeze the tick, 5. The best result is obtained when no parts of the tick's proboscis remain under the skin.
The tick's suction proboscis has spines pointing backwards, with which the tick is "anchored" firmly under the skin (figuratively, like a screw in wood). When the tick is pulled upwards, the spines rise and attach the sucker to the skin. The tick can tear, leaving parts stuck into the skin and this can cause painful inflammation or infection. To avoid this, the tick hook is designed BASED ON TWISTING MOVEMENT.
Pulling or twisting?
Which way is better? SEE YOUTUBE VIDEO
SYMPPIS tick hook is the safest and easiest way to remove ticks from both humans and animals. The safest way to remove a tick is to twist it with a tick hook: DO NOT PULL - DO NOT PUSH - DO NOT SQUEEZE.
The tick hook is the only: 1) CE-marked medical device (except PET model), 2) product recommended by the French Ministry of Health and 3) patented test winner - a tick removal tool that was rated the best in a scientific study* that featured 236 removed ticks.
Question: Why is removing the tick by rotating not generally recommended, but often even "forbidden"?
Answer: It is question of pure ignorance.
Justification: The tick hook developed by a French company was the first to be designed separately based on the rotation movement. Spinning with other tick removal tools is generally not recommended, because they are not suitable for it.
Example: Simply saying... nails are removed with a hammer and screws with a screwdriver (so as not to damage the surface - cf. video above).
