These are the order and contract terms of SYMPPIS International Ltd. (hereinafter "SYMPPIS") online store. These terms and conditions apply between SYMPPIS and the consumer customer (hereinafter "Customer") when the customer purchases products through SYMPPIS's website at www.symppis.com. We reserve the right to change product prices, delivery costs and delivery conditions. The customer is responsible for all customs and tax costs for orders from outside the EU.
1. Service Provider
SYMPPIS International Ltd. (later SYMPPIS)
P.O. Box 67
02771 Espoo, FINLAND
E-mail: info@symppis.com
VAT number: FI09658052
2. Transactions in the online store
www.symppis.com sivusto on toteutettu WordPress alustalle täydennettynä WooCommerce verkkokaupalla. Asiointi ja asiakaspalvelu tapahtuvat suomen tai englannin kielellä.
Placing an order does not require registration. However, the customer must provide the information marked as mandatory when placing the order, and the customer is responsible for the correctness of the information provided.
Ordering products is done by selecting products in the shopping cart in the online store. The customer receives an automatic confirmation of the order he has placed - a message is sent to the indicated email address. The customer must check that the content of the order stated in the receipt confirmation corresponds to the order placed by the customer. An order binding on the customer is created when the customer sends his order in the online store. As a seller, SYMPPIS has the right not to accept the placed order before sending the contract confirmation to the Customer.
3. Processing of personal data
SYMPPIS processes the customer's personal data in accordance with the currently valid data protection legislation. More information: Privacy statement.
4. Prices and information about the products
Products are charged according to the price valid at the time of order. The prices of the products are valid until further notice or for the time indicated separately in the product information (e.g. campaign products).
The prices of the products do not include payment method or delivery costs, but are determined by the selected payment and delivery method (see section 5. "Product delivery" and 6. "Payment methods"). Delivery costs and costs related to the selected payment method are announced in the online store immediately before placing the order and are charged when the order is paid. The prices of the products include the value added tax valid in Finland.
SYMPPIS strives to keep the price information and product availability information presented on the www.symppis.com website up-to-date and correct, but does not guarantee the accuracy of the information or the availability of the products and is not responsible for them. If the price presented in the online store has been clearly incorrect, SYMPPIS reserves the right to cancel the contract.
5. Delivery of products
Products are delivered to member countries of the European Union (excluding Hungary) and the European Economic Area, Great Britain and the United States.
Our transport companies are: Post and DHL Express
Delivery is always attempted as quickly as possible.
- If it is a domestic order, we aim to deliver the product within a week, and in any case no later than two weeks after ordering the product (the delivery schedule for foreign countries mainly depends on the transport company)
- If the delivery takes longer than normal, SYMPPIS will contact the customer using the contact information provided by the Customer. The customer can follow the progress of the order from the link included in the order confirmation.
- If the product ordered by the customer is out of stock despite the availability information presented in the online store, SYMPPIS will notify the customer without delay using the contact information provided by the customer. In this case, the customer has the right to cancel the contract and SYMPPIS will refund the customer the price paid for the product in full.
The customer will be notified of the product's arrival by text message. When picking up the product, the Customer must prove his identity (driver's license, passport, photo ID card). Proof of identity does not apply to deliveries arriving at parcel machines.
If the customer does not pick up the delivered product from the delivery location within the deadline and does not explicitly notify the cancellation of the product within 14 days after the customer has received a notification that the product is available for pickup, the customer is considered to have canceled the order for the product. In this case, SYMPPIS has the right to charge the Customer compensation for the tangible costs incurred in delivering the product. SYMPPIS is entitled to offset the compensation in question directly from the payment that must be returned to the customer due to the cancellation of the product.
6. Payment methods
Stripe is the payment intermediary for trading on www.symppis.com in the WooCommerce shopping application. The payment methods in use are:
Credit-/debit card: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard
Wire transfer (Direct bank)
Klarna
7. Confirmation of the concluded agreement
Upon delivery, a confirmation of the concluded contract is sent to the customer by e-mail, which contains the key information of the order.
8. Right of cancellation
The customer has the right to cancel the product ordered from the online store within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the product has been received. The right of cancellation does not apply to opened nutrition-related products. In order to exercise the right of cancellation, the Customer must notify SYMPPIS in writing of the cancellation of the order.
The deadline has been met if the customer sends the goods back before the end of the 14 days in question. The product must be returned in its original and salable condition.
SYMPPIS is responsible for the direct costs resulting from the return of canceled products.
SYMPPIS has the right to withhold payment refunds until the canceled product has been returned.
9. Inspection of products, complaints and error liability
Ulkoinen tarkastus mahdollisten kuljetusvaurioiden toteamiseksi tulee suorittaa välittömästi, kun Asiakas saa tuotteen haltuunsa ja tarvittaessa reklamoida välittömästi kuljetusyhtiötä.
After receiving the delivery, the Customer must immediately check the condition and correctness of the delivered products and ensure that the delivery contained all the ordered products.
The customer must notify SYMPPIS in writing within two (2) weeks at the latest after discovering a product or order error, either by email (info@symppis.com) or otherwise in writing (see section 1. Service Provider).
SYMPPIS is responsible for product defects in accordance with valid consumer protection legislation. If the product or delivery is found to be faulty, SYMPPIS has the right to correct the fault within a reasonable time or deliver a replacement with a fault-free product.
10. Force Majeure
SYMPPIS is not responsible for a situation that may be considered a breach of contract over which SYMPPIS cannot influence (force majeure). Examples include e.g. delivery delay and product/sales packaging being broken by the transport company or the delivery being delayed is caused by the Customer.
11. Applicable law and dispute resolution
Finnish law applies to these contract terms. The parties try to resolve possible disagreements primarily through negotiations and secondarily through the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the dispute will be resolved in Finland, in the district court of Western Uusimaa.
